CIO told me over phone that my file has been returned because of IELTS expiry. I am yet to receive my file back. Probably I will get it within this week. Once I have my file in my hand, I would be in a better position to talk to these guys. Till then, I will prepare for my upcoming IELTS :D

I called CIO. They said that they don't entertain case specific queries. The lady advised me to shoot a mail which I did. Have attached my IELTS TRF and Proof of Delivery in the mail. Another concern is that I haven't yet received my application back. CIC takes 40 days to respond to emails. If...

The date of exam was 26th May 2012 and date of result was 07th June 2012. The only reason for return of the application seems to be an oversight by the Case Officer. And, I really hope that this is the case. Rohan.

Bro, there is only one thing I conclude from all this. Canada is not meant to be. Kismat se zyada aur waqt se pehle, kuch nahi milta. But still, life is good!

That is what I conclude too. But, as per the note, Language test results must not be older than two years on date of receipt at CIO. Also, CIC has the hard copy of the IELTS scorecard which clearly mentions the exam date! They need not check the records from BC/IDP!
