    Also, consider that maternity charges wont be covered by government for 1st 3 months after landing, which can be huge. Would suggest to land either in jan-march 2020 OR soft-land, go back and keep fingers crossed for TRV.

    true, rentals have become unaffordable. ppl prefer to walk instead of owing a car. People earning as high as 70-80k are living paycheck to paycheck. I guess you can come back to "retire" here.
