Some provinces allow you to get a provincial ID card. It looks the same as a driver's licence. You would obtain it from the same place as you would a driver's license. This would give her a proof of address and also a government photo ID to open bank accounts etc.

Question.... For those of you who'd gckey is stating that back ground checks have started..... before that update, did it state Not Applicable?

How can they start processing the PA's application with out first approving or denying the sponsor. You have the right to receive back your fees for the portion paid to process the PA's application if the sponsor has been denied therefore they should not be processing the PA without first...

Ok but do you know why? I want to know why as it does not make sense. And it would save you time on reapplication. The sponsor would have to reapply but only that part of application would have to be reprocessed. Do you recall the question in the application that stated something asking if the...

Good afternoon, I am trying to understand the inland process. How many of you checked off on your application that it is ok to proceed with processing of PA's application if sponsor is found ineligible? How many did not? How can they request medicals if the sponsor has not yet been approved...

Hey guys, Medical was done but our non accompanying child back home has yet to do theirs therefore I don't believe gckey will be updated until that is complete. What does your gckey state for background check? Ours says, not requred. Is that the norm at this stage in the game?

Although i could not find the options suggested, i tried one more time to link and was successful. So PR linked to gckey. OWP was a fail to link. Is it even necessary as we already have the approval?

I don't see this as an option anywhere.

Im so sorry. This happened to us as well. I was very frustrated at the time. You just have to resubmit as fast as you can and put it behind you. The whole process is frustrating. You will get through it though.good luck.
