Have you paid for a service for the CA embassy in NYC to process your documents for you? For some of us around the world we either use consultants or send the documents ourselves to Nova Scotia, it sounds like you have received a confirmation email from the embassy and not IRCC.

I think your 6 months for AOR 1 is about right. We are hoping ours is done by December 21/January 22. A stretch, but hopefully doable.

I figured as much. I'm from a visa exempt country so I'm hoping with just my biometrics page they'll be able to grab everything they need digitally. With the current delays, a request for extra information such as more passport scans, will just be a drop in the bucket time wise I'm sure :)
