MEGATHREAD: Received SA with no VO

Agreed, it could just be stuck in a queue waiting to be assigned to a case officer. Either way, progress is progress and the fact that BGC is started is a good sign

MEGATHREAD: Received SA with no VO

Could it not also mean that it stayed where it was? My GCKeys states that background check is being processed and i also dont have a VO although my ECAS states that my application was received. Maybe as part of the 66% increase in case agents, that included some at CPC Sydney?

Ok, our immigration consultant has the access to GCKEYs so unless a letter is sent, i dont think he would inform us of passed. Only if there was a problem

    AUGUST 2020 *OUTLAND* SPOUSAL SPONSORSHIP

i think its going to be a while. I am hoping our application falls just under the 12 month point (july) so i can join my wife for the birth of our child. I am hoping we see some movement on the application by february. If we have AOR1 by february, i think it is doable, especially seen as IIRC...

    Pregnancy during application

Hi YVR. My wife is the daughter of a canadian citizen. That makes her a 1st Generation Canadian (Naturalized). Her baby is a second generation if it is born outside of canada and would not be eligible for citizenship. We have amended our plans and she will be giving birth in Canada. Thanks to...

It's a strange process because i feel its mostly targeted to adults, but we are talking about a 3 month old baby :D I think we will have to bring forward our move date so my wife can give birth in Canada, hopefully i get my COPR before then so can...
