Actually, thats not correct, You should update the webform with new address. With regards to passpsort submission, please check the VFS global website, they have an email address where you can send the passports for submission. https://visa.vfsglobal.com/ind/en/can/

It should not impact your timelines, i also filed from US and travelled back to India, got approval recently, updated webform with change in address to India and waiting for next steps. Thanks !
