My status is same as yours. I received notes last week after more than 2 months. File is not assigned to a officer yet. It's really frustrating.

Nothing at all. Jan 2020 applicant here. My MP got the same generic reply I was getting and IRCC has not even provided me with GCMS notes which I applied on March 10. Tells you about their process. Anyways, you can apply for GCMS notes for details.

Seems they are picking up backlogs. Good news!

People from August 2020 has got their apps approved in Mar 2021 (approx. 8 months) in the middle of the pandemic and here we are. Any reason/excuse can not justify their incompetence. The least they can do now is to speed-up the process and share files among other visa offices within Canada.

Same thing. Applied on Jan 16, 2020. No response after 22 Feb 2020
