Thank you for advice. Yeah I guess nothing to be done at this point expect for waiting. I found a thread on this forum from 2017 describing the exact same issue like mine. The guy finally got his AOR 2 month after getting his eCas active. So I guess there’s still hope for me :)

The first agent that I spoke to in July confirmed my email address in their system so there doesn’t seem an error with an email address. And for sure they have not sent anything yet, because it would have been reflected in eCas with the line « We sent you the correspondence...... » but I don’t...

Yes address was wrong and they uploaded my file twice, so when I login in eCas I see two lines with my name and link « Application received ». The agent also updated my phone numbers (I had some outdated since my PR application) and checked if my email on file is correct.

Not necessarily. My info has been loaded in the system as I mentioned here before. But I haven’t gotten AOR yet (counting 4 weeks already). When I called them first time about 3-4 weeks ago - they were able to update my address (also was wrong) based on my UCI.

If there’s no AOR, there’s no file number as well, unless it’s some sort of an exception when email was lost/not delivered.

I know.. imagine the wait time for us with all the delays and backlog that has been generated already and keeps being generated every day. I might be a pessimist (and I hope I’m wrong) but I feel like we are looking at 2-3 years of processing now:(

I called again asking about my situation and got the same reply to wait, but no answer on how long... Same response - they entered my information in the system but the officer hadn’t started looking at it yet, hence no file number /AOR. I asked why some people in February started receiving AOR...

Just saw a post of Feb 19 applicant receiving AOR... like seriously..

That’s what I have been seeing too up until 3 weeks ago. Not sure if my case is just some sort of glitch/exception, as most of people can access eCas only after getting AOR. I don’t like exceptions :(
