we don't have families here in Canada, but we already meet our parents and siblings. were really in tight budget because both of us are studying that's why we only inviting 10 people to attend the wedding nyways thank you very much for your help! I really appreciate it.

ya they are right. if you will apply for common law you should also submit at least 2 statutory declaration from your close friends or family member ( dont forget to notarize it). I don't know if these statutory declaration are also needed for spousal sponsorship. :)

are you already a PR? if your in common law you should declare your partner while your filling your PR application. if not, your application will denied.
