i haven't heard anything like that nor did they ask dna in my case.. but they might be in future because a lot of people are doing frauds by stating their relative's son/daughter as dependent in their own case..

"not found certificate" means birth record of this person was not found/lost and birthdate should be considered (date)...it is better proof than a simple affidavit.. and no you only have to send one...certificate or affidavit.. from my own experience a regular affidavit didn't work for 3 people...
