I'm really sorry to hear that... Take it easy dear. I may be sorry for myself too in the coming days, my application was delivered on time but I have made a mistake in the application, so they may return it.
1- lost passport can affect your file and make it a non routine process, but it will NOT cause your application get refused.
2- The judge will not refuse your application, please make sure during the hearing you don't change your words and what you have stated in your application.

CIC website says "Applications that were received on or after June 11, 2015 that do not use the latest version of the application will be considered incomplete and will be returned. Incomplete applications that were returned prior to June 11, 2015 must be resubmitted using the new application...
It does affect you in some ways, your days before becoming a permanent resident are not counted any more. So if you have not travelled since May 2013, then you will be able to apply for citizenship in (approximately) June 2017.

Intent to stay part applies on the citizen applicants only! It does not apply to anyone after becoming a citizen, you can travel abroad whenever you want, you can live in other countries if you want, you can get jobs abroad if you want... You will have the same rights as other Canadian citizens!
Hello everyone,
I sent my application in May, but I have not received AOR yet! What happens if my application returned for any reason after the implementation of C 24 (June 11)? Do I have to wait one more year and apply under the new rules? Or I can just fix the mistake and send it again?
Thanks.
I think CBSA should stamp every individuals passport when leaving the country. That's the best solution, then CIC will have no doubt about applicant's physical presence in Canada, and we will not have to wait 24 months and send bunch of mails/documents .
