As frustrating that it may be that June seems to be lagging, we really shouldn't be complaining... we're averaging 7 months for full PR when the expectation was one full year. Think positive :)

He was (still is) under travel health insurance issued from his home country (Belgium). See that's the thing... we can't find anything on the website that says '3 months' either!

I got my OWP before AIP. I haven't received AIP yet.

Also we just went to service ontario to get the OHIP and they said our letter from the employer has to say 'will be employed for a minimum of 6 months'. This is so irritating because he has been working for this employer for over a year now and it says so on the letter!

Under 'Current status' it said 'application/profile updated' but nothing changed other than an added statement that reads "Make sure you read your messages and take action when we ask you to. This will help move the application process along.". Is this what they call a ghost update?

Guys, what are the next steps after you receive your OWP in the mail? Do you have to go to service Canada to get your updated SIN number? Then go to service Ontario for OHIP? What do we bring for proof of eligibility for OHIP?

It took us almost 6 months to get our OWP so relax... all in due time :)

Alright guys the week before Christmas week begins tomorrow... let's hope the agents want to finish up as many applications as possible before Christmas. Crossing my fingers for everyone!

How are you all so calm? I'd be freaking out if I already got AIP/SA. You're at the finish line!

What is your timeline?

Do you really think it's close to the end though or will we be the unlucky ones that wait over a year as is the case in every batch it seems. There are some June 2018 applicants that are STILL waiting.
