    *******MARCH 2019 OUTLAND SPOUSAL SLONSORSHIP*****

I'm sorry you had such a bad time calling an agent. From what I've gathered from others on this forum, the call center is not all that helpful even if you can get a hold of someone. Some people just take a little longer to get their AOR, so I wouldn't panic too much at this stage. It wasn't that...

My husband was able to link on GCKey only after he found the application on ECAS. If you can find it there (needs PA details) then you'll get the application number you need to link it. There's a message several pages back on this thread that has a link to a guide on linking your application if...

I just got the AOR email! Based on the fact that a few people here said the PA received it, I thought it would be going to my husband's email address. But it ended up in my inbox. Let's hope we start getting SA notifications and requests for medicals and biometrics soon!

I think your best bet is to go through the basic guide here: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/application-forms-guides/guide-5525-basic-guide-sponsor-your-spouse-partner-child.html#forms If you go down to Step 5 it has information for dependent...

My husband found our application on ECAS today and linked to GCKey!! No AOR yet, hoping it'll turn up in the next day or two.

Don't worry Farahnaz, not everyone that sent their application at the same time will have the exact same timeline. If you look on the tracker, you'll see someone whose application was received 5th March and they only got their AOR today. I'm sure we'll see more being sent out this week!

Yes I'm really keeping everything crossed for the applications that went to Mississauga. It was their screw up, so I hope they forward it themselves and don't sent them back. Also excited to see more March AORs!

Help in filling forms for spousal sponsorship( Outland) from India

    1. Best option is to fill the forms in, email to your wife and have her check and validate the forms. Then she can print them, sign and have them couriered to you. 2. Honestly I think only you are capable of answering this. I mean, my understanding of an arranged marriage is that everything is...

What is the timeline after our application is approved?

You don't get the confirmation until the end of the process. The last step is that IRCC requests your wife's passport and will issue her a confirmation of permanent residence form. She then has a year from when it was issued to land in Canada. The timeline varies per person so it's hard to say...

From the guide for the IMM 5532 form, it says the following: When you agree to sponsor, you sign an undertaking, promising to give financial support for the basic needs of the people you’re sponsoring, and any of their dependent children. Basic needs include: food, clothing, shelter and...

Check out the spreadsheet on the first page of this thread, it'll give you an idea of the waiting times for people who've applied this year! At the moment it looks like it's taking around 35-40 days. So I would say you could expect to get your AOR some time in early May. Good luck!

Awesome, so glad to hear that late Feb applicants are getting their AOR! I'm hoping people from this thread will start hearing back soon. Here's hoping that early March folks start hearing really soon!

    Biometric Fee

I did the same thing, for some reason my interpretation of the biometrics stuff was that we pay it when they make the request to go get it done. Sent off my application a couple of weeks ago. Does anyone else have experience with this? Will I still be able to pay for it at a later date and...
