My express post enveloppe was activated this afternoon. The Passport was received at Ottawa on April 4.Hopefully, I will received the passport with Visa along with CoPR by the Friday. I will be landing during the week. Is it pssible to apply for new SIN card before landing?

Thanks guys. I guess the VO felt sorry for me. This is application 3/4. The 1st was PNP from Alberta in November 2011: the application was almost ready but got withdrawn because I moved to Saskatchewan in July 2012. ( I saw on my ecase was start processing your application a week after I moved)...

My status changed to in Process to Today. I checked yesterday it was still Application received. But it says: "We started processing your application on March 28, 2014." I paid RFPR upfront and did Medicals upfront as well.

At least we know that some VOs are actively working on applications between Sept 3 and Sept 9 (may be even later). Also, other VOs are working on clearing August backlog and would help out once this done. So, September applicants are on track and the majority will receive MR by april 5th. PS: I...
