We have sent 2 applications using thomas cook and few of my freinds have done the same. Thomas cook will give you a DD from Bank of America, Toronto Branch....No problem with Thomas cook.

Have you accepted the new card? I think when you don't accept the new card, it gets returned to the sender (CC Company), as well your old card continues to stay functional. I remember this issue being raised by someone else in the forum and the advise was not to accept the card.

Thats the reason for a police re-verification and the 1 month delay..they need records from your local police station of your temporary address. They already have verification of your permanent address

Dont attach anything not asked for, especially any photocopies for your Background declaration form. There is nothing such as speed up the application, CIC have already enough information about you at this stage, if they require more they will ask for at Local VO.

They may call your employer, email him or at worst do a 3rd party verification (local VO)....But this is rare but certainly possible
