I think Decision Made will come between 1-2 weeks for you, some people in June got it the next day. Some people also got a phone call for things like confirmation of current address so maybe keep an eye out for that. Otherwise, congrats man, you're arriving at the finish!

Medical exams are only good for one year, biometrics are good for 10 years. It's probable that you both will get medical exams requested for your application. You can find out if you'll need to give biometrics here.

I had a little bit of issue with the fingerprint scan, I have some scarring on one of my fingers that led to some resistance with the scanning. It took more than a few tries with a bit of maneuvering but we got good enough scans to send off. Did a similar thing happen with yours?

Yes, I completed biometrics but I don't think that's really necessary for the OWP to get processed, plenty of people the June Inland tab got OWP before biometrics. Just gotta sit tight and wait for the IRCC to process the applications.

I received OWP and I have not completed my medical yet.

Get medical done, wait for OWP, and wait for AIP. I think they'll start going through our files in end of May/early June so we got some time on our hands until next step.

Just FYI, I just happened to check my application today on GCKey, and it says approved but I don't think it's had a chance to generate an approval message yet. I also have a vistor visa extension that is still pending, should I send in a webform for a refund or will they automatically refund me?

That sounds terribly annoying! Can you send a webform inquiry to asking why it was issued to the old passport? It just seems like a waste of funds to issue a work permit good for five months and then have to spend another set of fees just to renew.
