I am no expert on this. I will just give my opinion based on my own impression of the situation. I think that sending another application (corrected) will just confuse all the process. Worst case scenario you might have a duplicated entry... and be considered as fraud. Calling them might be...

Precisely. Not to mention the fact that you can only answer for your present intentions. One's intentions today might not be the one's intentions tomorrow... or after the oath for that matter. Imagine you are in court because you left Canada end the judge tells you: - But you signed an statement...

I think you are more or less correct. The mid-june hotspot is a guess. A educated guess, but still a guess. It's basically a prediction based on the previous behavior for those matters. But what the heck do we know? As far as I know the law could be enforced only in January 2016... or tomorrow.

I understand and I agree. However for a lot of people it is not a matter of spending just once in a lifetime. It is a matter of simply not having this amount of money available.

I think you can make it. There are several courier options and several of them offers a extremely fast delivery. And of course, there's always the hope that the law will be enforced in July, but not exactly July the 1st.

It doesn't sound reliable at all. But than again... nothing does. I really like the input from several sources, because it allow us to discuss the matter. But at the end, we really need an official source to declare something concrete to us. And we are still waiting...

Well... yes... but at the same time let's remember that the fee increased astronomically since January. So we have two forces acting there: 1 - People trying to beat C-24. 2 - A HUGE increase of the fee since January. So I guess the end result is not that many more applications than normal. I...

Hello there, and welcome. Just out of curiosity, what was the language proof that you sent in February and was rejected? I just took a look at the April's applicants tracker and the April 24 applicants are getting their AORs right now. So... if logic follows with CIC, you should receive yours...

All right. My applications was received and signed at May 27. So if it is not returned (as per @Politren's answer) I should be safe and sound under the old law. Thank you both very much.
