I had the same case but we didn't apply until my wife came back to visit. Yeah lets hope something happen in 1 2 months cause the education, life work and everything of both spouses is at a halt cause of this stupid process, they need to understand that.

I personally think you should call CIC and tell them your whole case and demand to know what's going on... surely they messed up and tell me it's really hard for you and your spouse to live like this. they will do you case on an exceptional basis

if I understand correct, your application never went to LVO until july 2018... If that's the case LVO will now take their time to process your application and see if everything is ok and will contact you after
