Provinces that give extra points with provincial nomination AND others deduct

Thanks guys for your clarification. So i just want to make sure.. In ontario if i have over 400 points, i can get nominated by ontario pnp to get 400 (or is it 600?) extra. Is this the same case if i get a job in BC, AB, and other provinces even if i graduated from a university in ontario?

Graduated from Ontario. Getting PR in another province

Hi guys, I will be graduating this year, and Ive been looking for a job in only Ontario. The reason is that I think I read that getting a PR in Ontario will be easier for graduates from a university in Ontario. Like I think I heard someone mention that for CEC EE, getting PNP 600 points will be...

Processing time for OINP? (Entire process)

Hmm.. Do you know how difficult it is for OINP to nominate me once i get my points above 400? I just found out CLB9 doesn't mean the IELTS score has to be 9, and most of the categories are actially 7. I think it might be doable. I thought they are asking for impossible lol.. Also, if I go for...

Processing time for OINP? (Entire process)

Hi guys, I am considering if i should go for CEC with EE, or OINP (international students with job offer). If my past co-op employer says they will be able to apply for OINP for me, then which one will be faster? OINP or CEC? For CEC, I must first get 1 year experience, so 1yr+6 months maybe...

Can my parent stay with me in Canada while I work here with my PGWP?

Yeah, its definitely not common. I don't know if that is the official reason considered by CIC, but i submitted my medical record, letter from doctor, and my own letter with explanation, and all other usual documents, like bank statement, etc.

    Specialist NOC A or B?

Hmmm..thanks for letting me know. Is it common that a job title that someone is hired as is not listed in the NOC list? Now I'm getting worried if I would get rejected. I might think it's closely related, but the CIC people might not because they are not sure about this type of job. Also...

    Specialist NOC A or B?

I see. Are people with NOC A preferred by CIC? I'm wondering if I end up getting this kind of job, but that company required a diploma with experience (while I still qualify for it b/c I have bachelor's with less experience). I don't know if I have to say the this is NOC 2211, but if I do, will...
