The guy "bangkokcanuk" submitted his wife's passport not his own passport. so he have his own passport with him always. anyway i'm not saying its a bad idea but still i think its risky to submit our own passport in a foreign country and stay there for a while without any docs. Anything goes...

Good idea to go there but what gonna happen after submitting the passport? You can't come back without your passport and what if it takes a month to stamped the visa? So you gonna be stuck in a foreign country where you don't have your passport with you. What if a Singaporean policeman catch you...

Just have a look in the GPO and you might get it there. You could search it even without a tracking no. Just pretend with them as you're a policeman :D believe me it works 8)

Registered Post is reliable in Bangladesh. Always got within 4-5 days after issuing the letter. Even CHC-S send my medical request to the wrong address, the postman tried his best and finds me out to deliver the letter. So, i trust them now. If really need to use courier, i think the FedEx...

I always use the email address singapore-im-enquiry @ international.gc.ca and got reply back within 24h. Make sure your email address is recognized to them (use the same address that you fill up in your app form). Because they'll not disclose any information to unknown / unverified email...
