CBSA will cancel your visa when you do your landing.You go to any service Canada office in your city or town and show your passport of canceled visa.They gonna give you Sin number right way.

You can apply sin no after landing .You only need Immigrant visa stamp to apply for Sin number.

Completed my landing yesterday .NORTH PORTAL SK is most easiest and relaxed place for landing .They only need my COPR and passport. The CBSA officers were very helpful and polite .Finally a PR of Canada.

I sent my passport at street address of ottawa office. I guess thats why i got my passport back earlier than other who sent in PO box #. Thats my logic i can be wrong :P
