I did mine in October 2015 and it cost around £310 per adult. I suggest you call their office to confirm.

FOSS is a database for checking consistency of immigration information. If it is done when you apply for citizenship, your PR information will appear and will be compared against your current application. I hope this helps.

Its quite normal for them to request an additional document at the this stage. My advice is that you fill out the schedule A form and return it asap If your application is sent to your local visa office for background checks, they may request additional documents too I hope this helps.

Please don't decline ITA, you should be fine with making minor changes post ITA as long as your CRS score does not fall below the minimum draw scores for which you were invited. You may also write a letter of explanation about any changes you made post ITA.

No, the visa officer didn't give me a timeline within which to expect passport request though he hinted that the outcome of the interview was positive.

Cool stuff, I haven't requested GCMS notes, however I had a personal interview at Canada house 3 weeks ago during which the visa officer made me understand that my file was been processed in London.

From your timeline, your PPR is around the corner. How did you confirm that your VO was Ottawa? I was of the opinion that applications are sent to the local VO's for background checks.
