i made a mistake when i made my express entry profile... i didnt include the time i was unemployed... instead of unemployed i stated i was working that time... now i got my ita do you think it is safe to modify it or should i just decline my invitation and sign up again for a new application? pls and thank you..

Please don't decline ITA, you should be fine with making minor changes post ITA as long as your CRS score does not fall below the minimum draw scores for which you were invited. You may also write a letter of explanation about any changes you made post ITA.

Hello!

Did the employment also count towards your total points?

If yes, then take out the points for the time you were showing as employed from the total points and recalculate, then re address it

Just to be safe side, before you submit PR application you should write a letter of explanation about what you made a mistake, I don't think you will have a problem with Personal history section. You should be fine as long as you did not get the points from it.
