Yes, the employer can change the name in the LMIA. Ask your employer to call service Canada and then they will advise your employer to send them a request.

it is better to include this data in rationale for hiring a TFW in the main application form.

The employer can change the employee name in a positive LMIA, if the employee named in the LMIA didn't apply for work permit yet. We did that for our employer

You are right. But before the changes were made in March 2016, folks were doing this to make sure that they get invited under CEC

It does. My first application took 20 days including the Christmas holidays, but was a rejection. Second application took 20 days again with a positive result. Make sure your application is complete in all aspects. Wish you all the best.

If you are applying under CEC you are exempted from the minimum fund requirements. So if you change your available funds to '$0' in your express entry system, you will be eligible under CEC only and hence when u get your next invitation it will be under CEC.
