I heard that many immigration sections have gone on strike. so thing may get delayed...

Though it may get affected as whole system is centralised. I mean no PR visa issue happening. Only document checking or filing business may happen.

I had submit my pp again for 2 time as they returned asking us to generate new pp for my 3 year old daughter then only they can issue pr visa. Is that means that 2nd time it won't take much time for stamping. Or still have to wait for couple of months...

Hmm.. looks like no updats from CIC :( Again submitted passports last week... lets c how soon it comes... it got return as they requested new passport for my 3 year daughter due to change appearance. Keep moving... else freezing cold will make you stop forever... :)

Bad news - I have applied in 2006 as FSW and got letter yesterday about the termination and returning of fees. Letter saying that pre 2008 cases will terminated. Is that letter reached to all FSW applicants??

Ofonzo - where can we find the list of engineers canada list. i want to check my one. If my education is listed then i have to go to FE exams or else??? please advise. I am from project management background with 10 years experience... is that worth to go for PE.? i have PMP certifications...

Yes usma n ofonzo... 2+ for you guys... very emotional stories and believe me that still many master engineers are working in mall n cleaning toilets... i hope this is not for demotivate but to prepare ourself so that we are not in difficult situation with family ones... In my case, my daughter...

Can i submit my PP with one page blank in passport for visa stamping. As all my pages are stamped. yes there is space in other pages for In/Out stamps but not full blank. i have only page full blank. Can anybody know about this thing. any minimum requirement from CIC NDVO

Thanks Gurminder and Deepak... Age of daughter is 3.5 years. Actually there is one rule that passport should not be older more than 3 years in kids case... as thier face changes... no regrets to their decision... hope they will act soon on visa stamping onwards...
