What they need to do is defend their border and ensure that people only enter the country legally. Simply accepting whoever decides to waltz in will only encourage more illegal immigration.

I'm just so annoyed at myself for not getting into the pool sooner... Hoping for some encouraging draws soon, because I really don't want to spend $1500 on the OINP; it's a lot of money, and I ain't rich! The whole concept of selling extra points at exorbitant rates is suspect, if you ask me...

For me the worst part of all this waiting is the fact that there were three draws in recent months where I would have gotten an ITA, but because I made some stupid mistakes I didn't enter the pool soon enough. OINP is looking more and more appealing now. I'll try to hang in there a little while...

IRCC created the system. Blame them, not the candidates. I've wanted to settle in Canada for over 10 years, and I only just qualified to enter the pool a few months ago after a LOT of hard work. My CRS score is modest at best, but I'm not gonna get frustrated with others for scoring better than...

I'd advise people around the 410 - 420 range to wait at least a month or two before going the OINP route. That's what I'll be doing. Yes they might close it soon, but $1500 is a lot of money, and I'd be pretty annoyed if I ended up paying and jumping through all the extra hoops only to see CRS...

Dude, save your money. Your ITA will be issued at the next draw.
