Try contacting your MPs. I am not sure if it helped in my case. I contacted my MP and they said that my background check was going on and they were not able to give me any further information, but I got my MR in almost 2 weeks after I contacted my MP. I am not sure if contacting the MP triggered...

Hopefully it will be soon. We have already gone through so much pain waiting for our MR.

Do you think the waiting time for us would be a little shorter for the PPR because the Background check was already going on when our file was held for the 2nd review? Or does the background check only kicks off when we are done submitting the medical exam?

My due date for 2nd review was March 5, 2015.
