Better that than being rejected in my opinion. I am pretty sure CIC has stated that channellers for non-us residents and non-citizens are not valid. Dont think FBI would really care if you send a duplicate application as they have tons of them to process everyday...

yes you need a PCC and generally it is straightforward process but takes a long time to obtain (2-3 months). Check the FBI website for info on how to obtain a PCC

Sending a wrong PCC or incomplete PCC is one of the main reasons for rejection. Why do you want to take that risk. CIC gives enough time for you to obtain the PCC from FBI. Mine came after 3.5 months and they were kind enough to give me 60 days extension

You do not need a consultant, you will get all the information you need on this forum. Save yourself 40-50k which can be useful to you later when you move.

For medical you just need to bring your passport and for PCC it depends on the procedure in your country but most likely passport is one of the main documents you need to carry
