LANDING IN CANADA ??? -All You Need To Know.

Hello all. I am planning to do my landing next month in Toronto. I will be staying there for few weeks, come back to my home country and then go back to Canada permanently after few months. Now my question is, how much money I should bring to Canada, since I am not going to stay there for long...

@KASK , One other thing. Isn't your port of entry/destination mentioned in your COPR as per the choice you made during submission of EE application?

If you can increase your ielts score the oveall CRS score will increase. The lowest CRS score for this years draw so far was 413, so you need to make it beyond that. The CRS draws are usually take place bi-weekly (sometimes weekly too), you can check it to see the trend (just google it). Once...

Difficult choice! But if you do not have any close relative in either of the cities, I would vote for Ottawa. But again, listen to your heart. And many congratulations for receiving the visa.

Hello everyone. I have a question. After the visa is stamped, is there any restriction in traveling to other countries before landing?

You are OK so far as per the trend goes. Looks like your medicals and criminality have been passed at CIO and the rest will be done from SGVO (they have this thing called workload distribution). Same happened in my case. All the best.

Those who have submitted your passports to the VAC, anyone uploaded anything in your CIC account (PP and photo scan)??

What's your LVO? As per my PPR they have a standard time of 1 month after PP submission (and the instruction was to write name, DOB and photo studio address at the back of 1 of the 2 photographs). I submitted on 15th Oct and still waiting (LVO - SGVO).

After change to "We do not need additional documents", what happens next?

Well, it happened twice in my case. First, when I submitted additional docs (my travel history) upon their request. Then when I got PPR it again changed to "we need additional documents....". When I submitted my passports it again went back to "not needed".

After change to "We do not need additional documents", what happens next?

Hello there! If they require additional documents/information, they will send you an email or a message to your account. Otherwise these are regular standard statuses. Do not worry about it.

Hello @hope_faith! Good to see you again! How are you doing? Yes, it came at last by the grace of the Almighty. Thank you, and all the best to you too. :)

After change to "We do not need additional documents", what happens next?

As per some recent experiences, people with a long NA2 have a very short IP2 before PPR. Same happened to myself as well.

Are you an FSW-outland or inland applicant? In case of outland applicants the file will eventually go to the respective local visa office of your country of residence. I do not have much idea about how inland or PNP works. Seniors in this forum might help you. You can always raise a case...

Did you write to CPC-Ottawa or your local visa office? This is not encouraged but sometimes proven helpful.

What does your BG (background check) status show? I think you are absolutely fine. Most of us have gone through these kind of stagnant stages. The call centre agent in your case was kind enough to ensure you that everything was fine (which didn't happen to some of us, in some cases the agents...

Am i Eligible for express entry?

Hello @nirjhor911! Welcome to the forum. I would say, in any case get your academic credentials assessed. You cannot move forward without it; and they might assess you with good grades, you never know! And if it fails, you can always try for a job offer or a student visa. All the best. :)

Exactly! Notarisation is not required. It was required when there was the paper based application before EE and people had to send the notarised photocopies of certificates etc. However for some of the docs (e.g. PCC, IELTS, Job ref. etc.) they had to send the original ones.
