Guys who hv recieved their MR pls suggest : To what extent the background check is done? I mean do they visit all addresses and confirm your stay their?

Guys I saw that many of you are sending PCC after getting PER. I have sent it with file itself. Will it remain valid or I need another PCC when I get PER??
