So are they basically just asking for sponsors proof of intent regardless if you sent it all originally? Seems like a waste of time doesn't it?? Would a one way flight to Canada be good proof or would it be smart for the sponsor to move back to Canada and wait the remainder out there?

We are in the same boat as most people on here, SA on April 28 and transferred to Ottawa next day....since then nothing! When is the latest we should be hearing something?? I guess no news is good news though?...hopefully!

We got SA April 29 and app was sent to Ottawa, when I go on ecas all it says is "Application Received", when I click it, it says: Permanent Residence 1.We received your application for permanent residence on April 8, 2015. 2.Medical results have been received. Should I be worried yet?

I know this is a question frequently asked on here but on average how long are you waiting to hear something or see a change on Ecas after you receive sponsorship approval? We were approved in April and app was sent to Ottawa. On the spreadsheet it says average time for Ottawa is 9 months, but...
