Can you tell me how many weeks/months it took for the passport request after medical was done? I'm not sure, Is it passport request the next step after medical?

There is no negative impact on your file for doing upfront medical, although it cuts down the processing time by 2-3 months. I have came across many people who got everything done within 6 and half months having done the medical upfront

ms.reannox superman has said it right in the post below. CIC bridges work permit for only one year but the beauty of it, is you not glued to the same employer for another year. Now you've the freedom to change jobs if you wish. Good Luck

ms.reannox Not sure what you meant by "while having BOWP"? Here's what you need to know -if you've a closed work permit and is due to expire in 4 months, and the final decision hasn't been made on your application. You're eligible to bridge open work permit.

Many applicants who received PER in the month Nov still waiting for 2nd line to be updated on ECAS. I believe it might take until mid Feb for you to see the 2nd line. Good Luck

I couldn't be more agree with you, nowadays Ottawa is up to speed with applications whereas Delhi isn't moving well. I received my PER 2 months ago and still no sign of AOR.
