Quebec Skilled Worker Federal Stage (After CSQ)

Well, we will soon know. I will update once I complete the upfront medicals and see if CIC accepts it.

Quebec Skilled Worker Federal Stage (After CSQ)

Yes. So it means Quebec Skilled Workers are allowed or not allowed ? The headline says "Upfront medical examinations are no longer available for family class applicants." Anyways to each on their own. I already booked an appointment for upfront medicals.

Quebec Skilled Worker Federal Stage (After CSQ)

It seems its not available for Family class applicants. Quebec Skilled Workers are not Family Class. Maybe the clinics are too eager to reply without even making a distinction between a Family Class and Quebec Skilled Worker. I just called Clinique médicale Luso and they confirmed that they do...

Quebec Skilled Worker Federal Stage (After CSQ)

Is this the reply from Clinque d'immigration Maisonnevue Rosemont Clinic ? I know someone who did upfront medicals at Clinique médicale Luso in Mid 2018 and he got PPR some months back. " badly affect your immigration file " is just fear mongering of a business which will lose their clients to...

Quebec Skilled Worker Federal Stage (After CSQ)

Quebec skilled workers at Federal stage was previously around 17 months processing time. CAQ party of Quebec was elected on a promise to cut economic immigration to Quebec and they cut 20% quota which again increased processing backlogs to 21, 22 and 23 months currently. Do not rely on the...

@Uwamahoro @KCDREAM1983 There is nothing much to do other than wait. You can add your timeline in tracker. You will find similar timelines to yours if that will give you some solace. We are all waiting to have some movement in our cases. According to the tracker data, October 2018 cases are the...

Try applying for one more. Your last one may have been assigned to a "very efficient officer" who is trying to exploit the extended time clause for an ATIP request.

My timeline is very similar to yours. Still waiting for MR. You can see similar timeline as yours in this tracker : https://imtrackdb.firebaseapp.com According to the tracker, no one who has applied in Jan 2019 received MR yet.

Its the same thing on my gcms notes too. My timeline is similar to yours. But dont worry about it. If they can do express entry in 4 to 6 months and that too with eligibility checks. I am pretty sure all the processing for Quebec skilled workers is done towards the last 3-4 months of their long...

Maybe you should get a second opinion ;) , I mean visit some other medical place. See this for proof: https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/inland-quebec-applicants-federal-stage.607708/page-3#post-7755886

Quebec Skilled Worker Federal Stage (After CSQ)

Express Entry and Quebec skilled workers can do upfront medicals. It's not a problem at all. The only catch with Quebec Skilled workers doing upfront medicals is that the waiting period is now 23 months and by that time, your medical results will expire and you will have to do re medicals...

Quebec Skilled Worker Federal Stage (After CSQ)

In the tracker, the same person have put comments, so it was an upfront medical request and not initiated from CIC. As far as I understand, CIC processing of cases (especially Quebec skilled workers) has come down to trickle or to a complete stop regardless of what the immigration lawyers and...

Quebec Skilled Worker Federal Stage (After CSQ)

CIC processing of immigration applications has come down to trickle now. See the below data from CIC. Once this pandemic over, things will get back on track. Source: https://betterdwelling.com/canadas-biggest-real-estate-markets-see-a-big-drop-in-new-permanent-residents

Getting GCMS notes on time is a hit or miss. If you have the request reference no., you can email them and ask. Sometimes they forget.

Quebec Skilled Worker Federal Stage (After CSQ)

Yes I did. (inland and applied myself) I requested on May 6th and got it on May 28th. There is no progress at all as per my GCMS notes. Seems like no one has even touched the file. No officer notes at all. Only BG check in progress and RCMP check is NRT. I have 5 months left in processing time.

A snail is at the bottom of a 30 foot well. Every month the snail is able to climb up 3 feet, then immediately slide back down 2 feet. How many months does it take for the snail to get out of the well ?

According to the tracker https://imtrackdb.firebaseapp.com, its clear that applicants who applied from July of 2019 onwards did not get AOR yet. But do not worry about that, your processing time still will be 22 months from the application received date. (Excluding corona delays) NB: You can...

Quebec Skilled Worker Federal Stage (After CSQ)

Let me take a guess. You were in the group of applicants when it was 17 months processing time. Now that you are in the 18th month, an automated email got triggered. According to the wording, maybe these emails gets sent to those whose processing time exceeded from their 'lock-in' date. I might...
