If they are voting for bill C-4 now , this is considered a very good indication how fast they are going although the HOC rejected all the amendments and yet they manged to vote in the 2nd sitting
Hopefully C-6 will follow the same path
Guys, would someone please explain what happened, i just started watching and it was over,
What did they agreed on ? the government motion and suggestions or the senates' amendments ?
As i understood, the vote is not about the amendment, it is about whether to move Sen. Lang motion for adjourning the debate in his name or continuing the debate
correct me if i'm wrong !!!!!
The positive thing about yesterday's sitting is C-4 which is another controversial bill had passed 3rd reading in the senate to HOC (with amendments of course) as per the agreed schedule announced by Harder let's see if C-6 will meet the deadline which which is 1st week of May
I'm not an expert but i don't think so, if there was any amendment to the amendment it should have been represented before the vote like what happened to Sen. Mccoy amendment when there was a translation error
No, they will start the debate on C-6 3rd reading as announced by the speaker, but you never know another Sen. may rise with a new amendment we have to wait and see
There was a proposed amendment but it was withdrawn by the senator that's why the session was adjourned and the 3rd reading debate with start
but adopting this amendment is not a good news it was opposed by Harder and Omidvar, so there is a slight chance to none to be accepted at the HOC which...
