OINP - Employer sent a prescreen application in 2015, is that affected?

Yeah my company is currently dodging the LMIA question as they are already pursuing PNP for me. I think they are going to wait for a couple of months and see if I can manage to get a nomination/ITA through other means before deciding if they want to pursue LMIA for me or not. My PGWP work permit...

    celpip/ielts

I gave IELTs last year and CELPIP this year and there was a huge difference in my score. I aced CELPIP and I am pretty sure it wasn't because my English has improved. What problems did you face with CELPIP?

OINP - Employer sent a prescreen application in 2015, is that affected?

Thanks for your optimism. I do have a good chance, however my pgwp is expiring end of this year and i would like to have my hands in as much options as possible. Was just wondering if my pursuit of PNP nomination would be affected in the wake of recent changes to OINP.

CELPIP vs IELTS: scores and reassesment - personal opinion

Hello, as far as i know, language requirement is by the institute you are applying to (college/University). And I don't think they accept CELPIP. Also, CELPIP is only general category and doesn't have an academic test.

CELPIP vs IELTS: scores and reassesment - personal opinion

It doesn't hurt to ask for a re-evaluation (except 55 bucks). As far as i have noticed, you have more chances of getting the score increased if there is a gap of 2 bands between one module and all the other modules, it was the case for me and for a lot of other people i have read about. In case...

CELPIP vs IELTS: scores and reassesment - personal opinion

A picture would appear on your screen and you would be asked to explain the picture. What is going? what do you see in the picture? So, it's not only about your speaking skills, you have to be able to notice stuff in the picture and talk about it. There is a time frame, however, i think it's...

I did IELTS a year or so ago, without much preparation and my score was as follows: Speaking: 9, Reading: 7.5, Listening: 7, Writing: 6. Personally, i found Listening to be very tough as I was struggling with the loud speaker, and writing as I write really slow and have issues with spelling. I...

I am 395, considering the trend of points going down by every draw, I think people in this range should squeeze in by end of May. At least I hope so.
