Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Hello folks, I am looking for some clarification as OINP is going through significant changes.

- My Employer sent a Pre-Screen Application last August (2015), and it is still not approved, they said they were in the final stage of processing it before this got announced, would that be affected or would they still approve it?

- I qualified for International Student with a Job offer, but I don't qualify for it anymore (two years completed end of 2015), however, my lawyers told me that OINP will consider this if the delay is on their part, which it is. Now I also qualify for Foreign worker as I have 2 years of experience.

Question:
1) Would Pre-screen application be approved considering this suspension.
2) If it does get approved, would i be able to apply for International Student with Job offer/ Foreign Worker stream?

My express Entry score just got to 469 after CELPIP reassessment, if i had these scores before April 20th, i would have been selected ;(

Even now you have a fair chance with these good score. good luck
Thanks for your optimism. I do have a good chance, however my pgwp is expiring end of this year and i would like to have my hands in as much options as possible. Was just wondering if my pursuit of PNP nomination would be affected in the wake of recent changes to OINP.

PNP doesn't follow its 90 days timeline, they usually took longer than the, however with 469 you might get nomination in coming months.
Try to do LMIA in last 3-4 months of work permit so you can still stay in country with that.

Yeah my company is currently dodging the LMIA question as they are already pursuing PNP for me. I think they are going to wait for a couple of months and see if I can manage to get a nomination/ITA through other means before deciding if they want to pursue LMIA for me or not. My PGWP work permit expires on December 31st.

I am just hoping that because my employer already submitted PNP last year, it shouldn't be affected by the recent pause in PNP.
