Anybody got 'One year graduate study' in WES Report?

That is not true. Check the points it will turn out to be not very different for married or single people. I am married and even with spouse education, IELTS and work exp, not getting a masters ECA is surely harming our CRS. Sitting at 434 :( with a bachelors ECA despite having masters. My...

Anybody got 'One year graduate study' in WES Report?

It won't create any trouble for you if you get an ECA which clearly states the Canadian equivalency of your masters as "Masters". In that case you can simply choose the masters option in education section while creating your EE profile. However if you don't get a masters equivalency that will be...

    Nova Scotia nomination Program

There is no set format for writing such a statement of interest, plus it will vary from person to person and from province to province. I don't know much about NS but I wrote a similar letter for Ontario...and the things I covered were: - employment opportunities in Ontario for my NOC. Higher...

Anybody got 'One year graduate study' in WES Report?

It primarily means that both the qualifications need to have an ECA with Canadian equivalency stated clearly for each qualification as to "degree" or "diploma" or "certificate". That is my understanding at least...though it can be interpreted differently by other people. So seniors please feel...

For ECA which is preferred-WES, CES or ICAS

I am totally with you on this..In fact in my many mails/queries to WES I have very clearly pointed this anomaly to them. I have given them so many examples of my classmates and even juniors who are currently pursuing PHDs from renowned univ in US and Canada. Even their is a scholarship program...

For ECA which is preferred-WES, CES or ICAS

Could any one clarify this with ICES? I think they will charge $200 per degree so for BSc MSc it will be $400 Can we just get our masters degree evaluated? Since we need to claim points only for the highest degree. In their website they have not specified unlike in CES that we need to submit BSc...

Anybody got 'One year graduate study' in WES Report?

Hey Faithope In fact my ECA also was put under review twice by WES but both times no change and the same standard reply. I had sent a CSE to CIC a week back but again they gave a standard reply which was of no further help to me. Here I am sharing it with all forum members for your benefit...

For ECA which is preferred-WES, CES or ICAS

There is however one more forum member who has managed to re-evaluate their ECA into this: I am sure this person had a B.Sc.(3 years) + M.Sc. (2 years) kind of pattern: I am trying to check with Oasis..but seems he/she is busy or not visited the forum since yesterday. @Oasis: please share...

For ECA which is preferred-WES, CES or ICAS

That sure sounds promising but just a word of caution here. Caspper's case was slightly different...see here: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/for-eca-which-is-preferredwes-ces-or-icas/-t283023.0.html;msg4279587#msg4279587 It is not exactly bachelors in pure...

    Re apply WES

Ohkay your case seems slightly different and unique then. Coz in my situation the error in spelling mistake was on their part so when I wrote to them they made the changes and issued both soft copy and a hard copy of the revised ECA which was sent by courier to my home address. Hope you resolve...

    OOPNP Application Form

Proving ties in Ontario is not mandatory for OINP program (atleast under the human capitals stream FSW) You can still just mention your interest in the city of Ontario in the letter or statement of interest that you have to include with the application. And state in that how and when you visited...

ECA Interpretation - URGENT Help Needed

Oasis..did you manage to get your ECA report revised by WES?? I remember you also earlier had one year graduate study as your masters equivalent? Can you please share with us the developments. Did CIC respond to your query? How did you manage to convince WES of changing your ECA summary? Will...

    CRS score

Honestly no one can predict the cut-offs for receiving ITA no matter what analysis one does...CIC is unpredictable in the end. So if you have the chance at a PNP now, take it..a few weeks down the line you might not even have this chance. And there is a limit to what we can do to increase our...

    Re apply WES

I am sure with follow-up WES would heed to your request and change the name on your ECA. For ECA number are you sure you selected the ECA for immigration purposes in the first place? They have separate ECA for immigration category.

    CRS score

If you calculate your score using CIC's own CRS tool and enter all data accurately it is the same score as you would get after creating your EE profile. That is what its purpose is in the first place. But be sure to enter all data accurately and no tweaking 8)
