Hi, I applied for my TRV extension 2 months ago (Nov 24, 2014) and I still did not receive my passport back. Did anyone face this before? I sent an email to CIC and they sent me a very general reply: "Dear Sir/Madam, Reference: V30511XXXX No action is required on your part at this time...

If Canada Post sealed it on 27th, they can still consider your application under previous rules. But really depends on the person who's gonna check your papers. Best of Luck!

If they charged your CC that means you will receive your AOR. my suggestion would be to wait until you receive the file no and send your additional document by email/and mail. I doubt that they will be able to add your additional docs to your file without a file no. Thanks!

I really feel bad about the stupidity you and your wife did on your CIC application. I understand that she was out of status, but how did she even work without a status? I mean her SIN was expired, so I assume she was working under the table. If this is the case then you could just hide it...

call centre doesnt hv any info regarding the TRV. they suggested to email them which i did. u may try the same. good luck.

if your passport was issued in Dubai, you are suppose to put UAE even though its an indian passport. I had a similar situation and I confirmed with CIC. so dont worry! :)
