Yes, I need to look into how I cancel them! I was so frightened to start the process that I figured it would be easier if they did it. But it seems based in everything that has happened to date, I'm the one doing the work so I should keep my 3000 bucks!

Hi there I would think they are supposed to send me something to tell me AIP has occurred. They never even td me I could send in the work permit request with the pr app. So frustrating. My husbands visa is expired so I guess an extension fits the first step then the OHIP card.

Hi Canham2012, thanks for the reply. But they also requested on one letter, more proof that we are common law. So more proof + medical + police report were sent in. Consultant says its a good sign. Maybe they will approve stage 1 and 2 together...hoping ;)
