I finally got an AOR via email today. (I was starting to feel a little left out!) My application number is in the C0000XXXXX format. As would be expected for people receiving email AORs, I do not have access to E-CAS yet. Anyway, at least they didn't return the application! Now I gotta start...

It is still too early, I think. Most people from September have not heard anything, and people from August are only now almost all in process. Our day will come too! :D

I live in Nova Scotia. I sent in my application to Sydney earlier this month (October 2014). I am hoping everything goes smoothly and I should have my oath in 6-9 months.

I am not sure anyone on this forum is qualified to definitively answer that question. But you are right, it is highly unlikely that your application would have been processed that early, so it should be alright.

Be sure to notify CIC if you leave Canada for more than two weeks in a row. See the section titled “Asking questions about your application” on CIC webpage for “After you apply: get next steps”.

Thanks Srini So how do I create a timeline on my profile like the one that you have? When I go to edit my profile, there are no fields to add a picture, nor is there a way to create a signature with a timeline similar to yours.

I sent my application for Citizenship on October 2 by Purolator. Reached October 3, 2014, signed for by Doug Stephenson. I did not send tax documents, pay slips etc for proof of employment, because if they wanted those, they would specifically ask for them. I did send a letter from my employer...
