LVO = london visa office my case started processing in aug 2017 and decision hasnt been made yet

no I don't. It's 1st marriage for both of us, we have few months age gap, I stayed in pak for 4 months after wedding and went back to meet him in Jan this year....I don't know what's taking them so long

Seems like LVO is working on Jan 2018 cases now...I am Aug 2017 but we haven't received any DM or bcg complete msg or PPR request....I wonder where my case file is collecting dust Shud I contact my MP? is their any charge to me if i do? whats the process?

Yea...we got the pre-arrival letter in aug 2018, then re-medical in sept 2018...i thought for us the bgc is the last step but now i see some people are being sent 2nd requests for security check??? so now m not very sure...

I sent an email on webform to ask the same question and they said 6-12 months and that they source it out to a third party so they don't have control or information on it. It could take less time as well. My husband is Aug 2017 applicant and they started the background check on Sept 19, 2018...

Yes, do email them and ask for an update and if they need any more docs after you pass your 12 months time. They will let you know if they need anything within few days.
