    we r also July 2017 case and my MP told me that our case is in security and that they will be happy to follow up at the end of January....this process is a drag!!

    i googled it and somebody (on this same forum- diff link) said that " 'not valid for travel' on the CoPR means that you must have a passport, you cannot travel on the CoPR alone" can one of the experienced ppl here verify this info?

    I am on the same boat...I am a July 2017 sponsor and the file was transferred to LVO late August 2017...the Background check started Sept 19, 2018 and it's still in process... I think they jumped to new applicants and forgot about us :s

    I think MPs can only help when there is no activity on a case. You got a reply atleast...my MP didn't even reply... Who said criminality check is clear? Does your account show bgc check is complete?

    i don't know whats caus application processing started in london on aug 29, 2017 pre-arrival received on Aug 7, 2018 re-medical requested and bgc started on Sept 19, 2018

    Does anyone know if the background check takes longer for Peshawar applicants compared to other cities? Also, how long does the MP takes to repond back after providing them the necessary info?

    I did and they said bgc is carried out by a third party and they dont have control over it...I will email them again and see..
