AOR in March 2016 >>>>> Good Luck ALL

there you go, hence the eAOR still provides a close enough estimate to the 6 month waiting period.

AOR in March 2016 >>>>> Good Luck ALL

The eAOR was never the start of the so called "6 month waiting period" but given that the assessment as to the completeness of your application is done soon after you get your eAOR, that date has been used by applicants as a rough estimate to determine the 6 month waiting period. i would be...

AOR in March 2016 >>>>> Good Luck ALL

i think the Ottawa office has slowed down a lot in processing PPR's especially for FSWO's.

that was only a small number of people for whom it happened. it's too small a sample to form any trend from it. there are enough people with BG check in progress 60 days+ still waiting.

AOR in March 2016 >>>>> Good Luck ALL

agreed. the Jan/Feb spreadsheet is not very reliable since it's not updated. good job on being able to find the PPR dates for the individuals you mentioned though. i wouldn't have the patience to scan through threads for that! so essentially for jaymax it took around 222 days to receive his...

AOR in March 2016 >>>>> Good Luck ALL

BG check going into progress twice or once honestly varies from case to case. in my case, it only changed once. yeah, there are about 44 FSWO's in the Feb spreadsheet that haven't received the PPR! but that's bullocks, it's highly likely that this spreadsheet hasn't been updated: a lot of the...

AOR in March 2016 >>>>> Good Luck ALL

interesting question. the samples size for FSWO February AOR's processed in Ottawa is too small to be able to form any opinion. However, from the spreadsheet I was able to identify 4 FSWO Feb applicant's that received PPR's who's VO was either Ottawa or they didn't know (which mostly ends up...

i can empathize with you. if you have tried it all and nothing has come about, maybe you want to think about engaging am immigration lawyer?

that's insane. have you ordered GCMS notes or tried contacting IRCC to get an update on what's going on?

    >!<!>!<!>PR applications pending with OTTAWA (more than 6 MONTHS)>!<!>!<!>

Re: PR applications pending with Ottawa (more than 6 months) the best sure shot way is to find it through ordering GCMS notes. however, normally it depends on where you applied from, what category you applied under and your nationality.

    >!<!>!<!>PR applications pending with OTTAWA (more than 6 MONTHS)>!<!>!<!>

There are quite a few of us (across all EE categories: FSW's, CEC's, etc.) who's applications are with the Ottawa office at different stages that are past the 6 month mark. Thought I'd start a thread specifically for the Ottawa VO folks since there doesn't seem to be one. Share your experiences...

AOR in March 2016 >>>>> Good Luck ALL

it's hard to give a number on the refusal cases after 6 months because the spreadsheet doesn't contain that data. however, generally speaking chances of refusals happening past 6 months are extremely rare. your eligibility is one of the first things that is determined as part of your application...

AOR in March 2016 >>>>> Good Luck ALL

I was never told that but I know many people on this forum with different AOR dates that were told February 2017 and then received in the next day or soon after. Personally, I think May 2017 is bullocks, absolutely ridiculous. It's like they threw a dart on a calendar with eyes closed and...
