so technically your background and security check was just submitted 2 weeks ago. at least now you know they've finished doing it and when they finished it. hopefully things will move for you now. i've been debating whether to fax a request to CSIS as well but then just ordered my GCMS notes a...

i'm wondering if it would have been different if you're a solo applicant. would they ask you to do the landing before a certain time? as opposed to if you have famil, then they ask you to redo them? or is it more to do with inland vs outland? or your category? or are these parameters totally...

there is no rain or thunderstorms anymore. that happens only once or twice at most when your month's AOR comes in for the first time. now it'll be just rain droplets here and there. PPR's will trickle in randomly in no set order

your PCC should cover the time period after the age of 18 whereever you have lived for more than 6 months. Often is certain countries PCC's, the address where you stayed is mentioned. say if you lived in country A for 8 years and had 3 different addresses, but your police certificates only...

there is no written rule when rejections happen but if they are to reject you based on eligibility it would be within the first 6 months i would assume when they are determining your eligibility.

    AOR- PPR TIMELINE...PNP/FSW/CEC?

not at all. there is no generalizing the timeline based on categories, there is no pattern to it. there are people from all these categories still waiting for their PPR's for more than 8 months. there are people from the same categories that received there PPR's close to or around 6 months. but...

these are the reported reasons as of now that have been reported by members for being rejected in another thread on this forum. you'll notice that most of these relate to eligibility, nothing there to suggest any rejections were done based on bg checks. 1. Job not specified as full time and...

at this point, the only thing that can get you rejected is something drastic popping up in your background check which ends up making you a risk to Canada. so, no - not really; i don't really think about that. if your's is a straight forward case and you are a regular applicant like any other...

possibly. could definitely be a factor but how do you explain the applicants from these countries who did end up receiving their PPR's within the 6 month mark? so that argument doesn't add up. if that is true though, this is neither in our control, nor CIC's since until they hear from the local...
