Yeah the 550 per person is the processing fee which is non-refundable (the price for the application to be looked at at all), and the RPRF is refundable if your application is not accepted, but is 490 per person.

Question for you all... our application was sent last november and has been in process since. In February, my girlfriend (the applicant) got a job after being a student for the past 4 years. After we received AOR shortly after, we notified CIC that she now has a job and sent them her work...

Are you sure about this? So you can scan the FBI PCC and send it to CIC via email if they request it?

It took us 4 months to get AOR. It's definitely normal. Don't sweat it, every case is different and it taking around 4 months is not at all unusual.

AOR seems to take around 4 months from the time they receive the application these days, but it depends on your visa office and a bunch of factors.

Does anyone know if the 30-days limit is for them to RECEIVE the medicals or if it just needs to be done at the doc's office within that timeframe? Let's say the limit is on August 10 and the exam is on the 9th, is that ok or should it include the amount of time it'll take for the doctor to send...

Thanks! They actually haven't requested the PCC so far, and shouldn't as she moved to Canada when she was 17, so she wasn't 18 yet and therefore we haven't provided any PCC. But we still applied for FBI PCC back when we got her AOR, just in case they'd ask for it anyway, and we just now received...

Got Medical Request yesterday... and RPRF even though it's already been paid via case specific enquiry due to the reminder email a few weeks back. We just sent the same receipt again to the email they provided. Did this happen to anyone else?
