QSW Federal Stage - Application from Inside Canada

Hi notsodarkblue, Thanks for updating! :D Can you give more details on what happened on your side? Do you mean you got decision made on eCAS? What about your MyCIC account? Did you get PPR email and are you from a visa exempt country? A few of us are wondering what to expect after our status...

Quebec Skilled Worker Federal Stage (After CSQ)

Hi! Same situation here with similar timeline. Where are you from? Some of us are wondering if people from visa-exempt countries will get CoPR directly without PPR.

Quebec Skilled Worker Federal Stage (After CSQ)

I'm sorry this happened APayés, I know the feeling :( If I were you, I would resend the application and include a second copy of the birth certificate (in case the first copy was deemed illegible for some reason), and include a letter of explanation attached to the certificate explaining that...

Quebec Skilled Worker Federal Stage (After CSQ)

Hi Helen, After AOR, you'll receive a request to pay RPRF, a request to get medical exam, and possibly a request for additional documents, depending on your situation. Decision made comes at the end of the process, right before you receive PPR (passport request, where you have to send in your...

Quebec Skilled Worker Federal Stage (After CSQ)

Yeah I hope that's the case for us as well! Just worried about the lack of PPR email, but maybe that's because of her US citizenship and being visa-exempt. I know they usually get PPR anyway and are asked to send hard copy photos and passport biodata scans, but we did send passport biodata and...

Quebec Skilled Worker Federal Stage (After CSQ)

Status on ecas changed to Decision Made tonight!! How long after can we expect PPR? The email still didn't come. Hopefully it's not a bad sign, GCMS had nothing wrong and was in location: PACE with eligibility, criminality, and medicals all passed. Hope to hear back soon! :D Is it possible to...

QSW Federal Stage - Application from Inside Canada

Thank you! I guess I'll stop checking ecas 10 times a day and just wait for the email to come :D I guess you got PPR via just a regular email to your inbox? Or was it through MyCIC?

By the way charlottemontreal, did your ecas turn from in process to decision made? Did that happen before receiving PPR?

Quebec Skilled Worker Federal Stage (After CSQ)

I have a fairly urgent question if anyone can help. Here are the details: > My girlfriend applied for permanent residency from within Canada under PEQ as a quebec graduate > She's now staying and working in Canada under PGWP while waiting for permanent residency > She was under 18 when she...

QSW Federal Stage - Application from Inside Canada

Not sure, the GCMS notes just mention a "due date" which I'm guessing was the next time an officer would look at our file.

QSW Federal Stage - Application from Inside Canada

Still no decision made or other update since medical received in late July. We ordered GCMS notes and it said due date of November 12. Crossing our fingers for PPR soon!

Did you order GCMS? Any due date in there?

Quebec Skilled Worker Federal Stage (After CSQ)

They're just something you order from the government under the privacy act. It'll give you access to your full file as it currently exists at CIC, including notes left by officers working on your file. It essentially allows you to track progress on a micro-level instead of just getting a general...

Quebec Skilled Worker Federal Stage (After CSQ)

You can order GCMS notes to get more information on your status, but it looks like you just finished the last part and might indeed be able to get PR before then. Hoping it's fast for all of us!

Quebec Skilled Worker Federal Stage (After CSQ)

Thanks for this, and congrats on the progress! It's really encouraging to see :) Weirdly enough they seem to be using different date formats for both of us. Hoping it means today in our case and that we can expect a decision made status over the next week! Let us know when you get PPR...

Quebec Skilled Worker Federal Stage (After CSQ)

Hi everyone, Does anyone know the date format in GCMS notes? Our "APPLICATION ASSIGNMENT: Due Date" says 11/12/2016 and I am not sure if that means today or December 11, depending on the date format they use.
