Yes. I called last Friday they said I was not in the system. That this was normal and a bunch of other BS. By looking at the turnover dates it would seem that those who have a lawyer and those with an existing file get service first.

That sucks. I am not an immigration expert but I would be on the phone making inquiries as to the status of that application. Did your parent retain a lawyer to help with this?

No news for me today. Whoever is logging info on the spreadsheet I sent my application on the 9th of May. CIC Mississauga received it on the 10th of May. How many of us are still waiting for AOR's now?

Apparently not everyone receives an AOR. They are new and haven't been fully implemented so I have been informed from CIC. If it indicates that they have received your application then you are on your way. An enviable position.

I thought that as well. I'm not concerned on whether we will get approval just when. I think I will make an appointment with an immigration lawyer to get a better understanding of why there is no parity in the AOR system.

Lol. We have all that. Though there is 15 years difference between us. She has a much better education than I do and could immigrate anywhere she wanted to.

Chat logs I did not include with my application figuring they would request them if they felt it necessary. Considering all our other supporting documentation 2 years of chat logs would have cost a fortune to send. How pivotal are they in the sponsorship portion of the application?

My application arrived at CIC in Mississauga May 10th. I called them last week and I am still not in the system. Others have received their AORs in as short of a time as a week now. I'm also getting stressed about this to say the least. You can call this number but it may take several attempts...

I have no client ID. When it asks for that I just dial "0". How did you get a client ID?
