What are we supposed to do ... some Pakistani applicants, like me, got AIP on Sept 3 and then got a letter saying that the AIP was sent due to a mistake. Should we just assume that our application is rejected, or is that a good thing?

yeah ... that's what I meant. Applied on 30 July from Pakistan. SDS application for a Bachelors of Engineering at the University of Waterloo.

I guess I was right - IRCC did just mass update the applications. I think hundreds (if not thousands) of students got their AIP yesterday, both from Pakistan and India. Those who've received AIP, are you starting online or are you deferring? And does anyone know when does the second stage review...

I heard that two people from India got it and one person from the Philippines got it

yeah ... for all those people saying "VERY LOW CHANCES OF REJECTION AFTER AIP ... NO PROBLEM" ...... we still have seen no one get an approval after AIP and the first case we see where someone gets a decision after AIP, the guy is rejected.

Are you able to share his complete profile? Previous educational history, the college and program he applied for, and whether he applied through SDS or non SDS. This is unreal!

I think the time has far passed to where we still should've been patient and give them the benefit of the doubt. There's a couple days left before the semester starts, and lo and behold ....... so many people have still not received decisions whereas people from other countries like India...

Haha .... you're the one who's so scared of a refusal that you're yelling out "OPEN DISCRIMINATION" before your decision has even been finalized. And unlike you I actually spend a fair amount of time on this forum .... enough to know that people from many countries get requested from interviews...

Yeah ... typical ignorant response .... well guess what, this isn't just about me or just about you. Its about the fact that hundreds of prospective students visit these forums and stuff like this scares the heck out of them. According to what I see, there's only two refusals in the google docs...

yeah ... so few people have gotten AIP from Pakistan, and now that its August 20th, I'm really getting worried
