Hope so. The amount of time the took to process 7th may applications was massive and higjly discouraging :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[. But after 7th May...it has been relatively quick . :D :D :D :D CIC , some more momentum please :P :P :P :P

I am 100% sure , that it is valid for 6 months . Moreover, I applied through a consultant and he only suggested to get it from HDFC bank because HDFC gives DDs with 6 months validity . So I did that .

One BIG Concern for all the applicants who have chosen DD as their mode of payment . Considering the speed at which CIC is working, it is quiet possible that applicant might be charged after SIX MONTHS . And 6 months is the maximum duration upto which a DD remains valid (Thats true in India...

Nope I did filing through a well know consultancy firm ,and they said they need all that as mail from official mail id of the individuals who are giving reference .Plus, Business Card or xerox of the Company ID Card of those guys .

One doubt about work reference letter ??? ??? ??? I have given reference letters from my Seniors in the team, Not from the manager , as companies I worked for were not ready to give reference letters in the required format .. As manger has left the company . Would that be a problem . ...
