Hi, i recently moved to BC from Scarborough, ON due to work. I wanted to ask you which office is fastest in the West coast area. I can move in that area like Vancouver, Surrey, Burnaby etc. Please recommend which is the fastest office?
Withdrawing and reapplying itself is a reason for them to issue you RQ. Besides there is no guarantee that they will not issue RQ and keep you waiting for another 2 yrs or more. If you have already passed the citizenship test, i would suggest that you wait for oath may be its just around the corner.
What is the time period of this new RQ request? They mention it on the first page. Which 4 year period of documents they want?
Do you remember the form number of your previous RQ? My pre test RQ was CIT0171
Effective January 1, 2015 at 12:01am, Citizenship processing fees for adult grant applications will increase from $300 to $530. The Right of Citizenship fee will remain $100.
Applications received by CIC on or after January 1, 2015 will require the new processing fee ($530) plus the Right of...
I feel your pain martin0473. 40 months of waiting time is really too ridiculous. It is bad very very bad on CIC's part to keep people waiting. There has to be some kind of reform and change in the process. We are all in the same boat of suffering.
Yes, they can't legally deny Citizenship but they can significantly delay the application process and drag it for years and years with no update and movement on the file.
Yeah i agree with you. We should avoid personal inbox messages unless its absolutely necessary. This forum is open for general discussion for everybody's knowledge, guidance and sharing. Though we are not professional advisers. Personal messages defeats the purpose of this thread.
WOW meeru your case is so pathetic :'( Unbelievable you are a 2009 applicant and they sent you RQ 2 times and Fingerprinting also. Sorry to hear that friend. Any idea why they sent you 2nd RQ? US visits/ work in US/ Middle east background?
Some times i feel that the tonnes of papers we send as RQ reply to CIC becomes a delay in the processing because they have to verify all those documents which takes a lot of time. What is your take on this?
Many Congratulations! bravepeople. Finally you are a Proud Canadian :)
Thank you very much for the excel sheet. You have done a wonderful job. Do keep checking in this forum once in a while.
Interesting to know!! They approved your file on 27 April 2014 but still when you got ATIP1 on June, 2014 this information was not available. Only in Sept you came to know that your file was approved long ago.
